This is a hand-sized (A6) book that has been hand-stitched and case bound in veg-tanned goatskin that I have dyed and tooled myself. It has hand-stitched headbands, made printed marbled endpages that have been waxed with beeswax, one ribbon marker, speckled edges, and "HEXAEMERON" gold foiled on the spine.
The book contains Saint Basil the Great's Homilies on the Six Days of Creation. The translation is that by Philip Schaff and Henry Wace in Volume Eight of the Nicene and Post Nicene Fathers Series II, which is in the public domain and can be found here. It does not contain the original introduction or notes, with the exception of the scriptural references.
The book is digitally printed in archival-quality pigment ink on 90 gsm Munken Pure paper in a 9.5 point font.
